Hi, I am looking for the highest quality lead-free glassware. I currently own baccarat tumblers and highball glasses but I would like to get away from using it on a daily basis due to potential lead risks. I understand many people believe there is nothing to worry about with lead crystal but I would still like to get away from using it on daily basis. Price is not really a concern and I am willing to pay up to 100 per glass if needed but would be perfectly fine with something a lot cheaper. From my experience lead crystal holds up very well to daily use, is regular glass as good or is there some alternative like the titanium crystal that is better. I am curious what people recommend. Also, I really want to avoid the joined seems and tilted bottoms that is found in a lot of the non-crystal glassware I have used in the past. Are there brands that cut the glasses to be perfect and seamless like lead crystal companies do. Thanks a bunch, I am sure yo

iittala offers some great products...quality...timeless design...well within your budget.

More effort, but I would even recommend collecting their out of production patterns, such a "Niva".

Maybe you shouldn't be such a gigantic tool bag about what glasses you drink out of. I am sure you have other things to worry about, rather than the seems and content of your crystal. You honestly sound like a huge d-bag. I am prepared to speed 100 per glass..yada yada. How about buying a more modest glass, donate the rest to a charity for those who can not spend what we can. Are you that insecure about who you are that you need to be defined by the type of glass you drink out of? Better yet, seek the advice in a public thread about which crystal to choose? Perhaps buy cheaper glasses and spend the rest of your cash on a shrink who can re-assure you that you are not a donkey wad (but you still are).
