I'm a junior in college, and I am starting to notice that more recent events required having business attire. In addition, I am about to be for my first time representing a small business behind a booth at an expo coming up. I want to be professionally dressed.

I am:
6 foot 5 inches tall
185 pounds
Slim
Broad shoulders
Considered tall and lanky
long neck

If it helps, I currently live in Los Angeles.

I read an article on Forbes recommending people to go to an high end suit store and be consulted by a salesmen with similar tastes. The article also recommended wool.

Specific questions:

1. What is considered a "high end store?

2. Will it be appropriate to wear a slim fit suit due to me being slim?

3. What are some in the $1000 dollar price range?

4. $500?
