1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yes indeed. The link is below:

You'll get excellent service from Bonita Wang there. I received my third pair of shoes from them yesterday and I'm very pleased with them.

I don't like them. They are too much "fashion" for me, but perhaps that's what you are going for. They are definetely not a wardrobe staple.

Those shoes are utterly hideous. If they're "original," let's just say there's a reason why some things are not done. Stupid ideas can be original and awful at the same time.

I guess the real question is whether you want to be well dressed or look absurd while desperately chasing some runway model-esque look. If you want color in your shoes, pretty much any shade of brown or burgundy would be better.

Thanks for the useless response. What's wrong with looking like a model? If you don't have anything constructive keep it to your self.

    Thanks

Nothing, if you are a model. Are you a model?

I"d just like to throw my 2 pennies out there, I just emailed Crocket & Jones - New York, benchgrade Oxfords run in the neighbourhood of $800 - $1000.00 USD. Even Barney's has some models around the $750 price point.

    A little more than $550.

Buy from UK stores. Either C&J UK or Robert Old. Significantly cheaper.

It's hard to beat Sutor Mantellassi footwear on sales for less than $500. There are plenty of styles to pick from.

You responded to a post that was more than a year old. C&J used to price their Benchgrade shoes in the $450 range back in early 2013. They raised prices significantly since then.

He's also flat wrong. C&J hand grade isn't USD800-1000, benchgrade is nowhere close to that.

    Guys:

Here's a direct quote from an email sent to me from C&J - NYC

Hope your well. Sorry for the delay were still w/o internet connection here at the store.
So, I've been using my own tablet trying to keep up with all the correspondences.
The simple answer is our Main collection of Oxfords shoes are in the $600.-$700 range.
My recommendation would be either the HALLAM or CONNAUGHT model.
Our Hand-Grade collection are in the $800.-$1000. range.
    - Anthony @ Crocket & Jones NYC.
