If you need a commercial mower, I'd look at SCAG.

Funny, I've actually considered that. Spanish goats eat a ton of grass.

Which models for the John Deere and Snapper? SCAG is a little out of my budget. Don't want to spend more than $1500 (sale would be nice).

Nice, I was waiting for someone to play on the title.

Anyway, John Deere is not bad, but for the same amount of money you can get much more with others.

I like the Snappers Zero turn radius like this one:

I would love to have a zero turn...did I mention $1500

The zero turns are an order of magnitude better than any riding lawn mower if cutting grass is your main concern -- typically they have much higher blade tip speeds as their engines are running at higher RPMs (this can be done as the drive is typically hydromechanical, rather than hydrostat or direct). I cut on one of these (not the one pictured), a 60" Cub Cadet Tank, at something like 18MPH

LOL. You must wonder about the thought process there. "Well, I'm wasted. Suppose I should derobe and mow my lawn."

But I don't see a cup holder

Bad eyesight. The two control levers on the left? Look near the base of the right-most, and voila! All American vehicles have cupholders. My Jag doesn't, and I don't use this one -- afterall, you need two hands to operate it. It's also quite bouncy at 18mph, though a sealed water bottle would be ok.
