I'm gonna say New Order. Some may argue Depeche Mode > New Order but I prefer NO. Remix wise however I much prefer DM however the remixes aren't done by themselves.

After hearing Victor Wooten several times live, I find it hard to truly admire other bassists.

Speaking of Wooten and in the interest of throwing out a band from a genre not yet discussed, any other big Bela Fleck and the Flecktones fans? "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo" didn't sound right in my living room until I moved up to four randomly-placed subwoofers (all Paradigm Servo-15's), and that's with mains (LCR) that have 10" actively-driven woofers!

really? I think they're the most overexposed/overhyped band in ages. The debut isn't bad but even in their own genre of "UK dance/punk" bands there are better groups, imho. (Futureheads, Hard Fi, Kaiser Chiefs, etc)
