After ONE wash. No dryer. Never worn. Only happened on one shirt. You can see clear through to my chest.

Don’t tell me this is normal or I am being too CM.

WTF.

So they've finally figured out the proper cloth-to-crap ratio to make one's heritage clothing exhibit the perfect amount of patina after precisely one wash. Brilliant, I say!

Should have gone bespoke with your personally-selected fabric. I understand Simonon Goddard are a reputable vendor, perhaps you should have given them a try?

send them an email and complain, then post here and we profit?

seriously though, your bad luck is unprecedent (though I guess if you buy 8 if only 1 is a lemon they should be able to work out something with you?)

Yeah, like the world's tiniest cup of lemonade.

Alternatively you could be our uniform controlled test subject for western shirt, I can tell you my RRL doesn’t have a problem so far, and RRL’s XS would probably fit you?

Think RRL probably too long in the body.

Hum, RL has free shipping and return these days maybe give a try?

I’m 5’7”, the small works well for me (don’t have the right belt but don’t feel like paying $200 for a belt I would rarely wear…)

Nah, there's not enough horseshit for that.

It makes it look like you were doing cowboy stuff, though.

what my wife said ?‍♂️ , I think trying to incorporate western shirt to CM outfit is just 80% swapping out chambray shirt, and it's going to be "why bother" but I like it so.... I have tried some earthy tone sports coat (brown tweed) what not with this stuff, it kind work but again so would a chambray shirt?

p.s. though my wife's reception on this is a lot better than my wife's reception on Hawaiian shirt, she think Hawaiian shirt all looked like either
1. retired, which I'm not
2. cheap Taiwanese gangster from some early 90s movie (and that wasn't a complement by her book)

though I still don't have cowboy boots or a proper belt to do a full cosplay... (I wore tan suede chelsea from barbanera, good enough for me for now) though might get a proper belt but don't want to spend $200 for that...
