Rumor has it the original title character in the Grateful Dead's song Dire Wolf was a Jackalope. They changed it after one of their equipment trucks was destroyed on a desolate stretch of road east of Laramie
In the timbers of Fennario, the wolves are running round
The winter was so hard and cold, froze ten feet 'neath the ground
Don't murder me, I beg of you, don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
I sat down to my supper, 'twas a bottle of red whisky
I said my prayers and went to bed, that's the last they saw of me
Don't murder me, I beg of you, don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
When I awoke, the Dire Wolf, six hundred pounds of sin
Was grinning at my window, all I said was come on in
Don't murder me, I beg of you, don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
The Wolf came in, I got my cards, we sat down for a game
I cut my deck to the Queen of Spades, but the cards were all the same
Don't murder me, I beg of you, don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
Don't murder me
In the backwash of Fennario, the black and bloody mire
The Dire Wolf collects his dues, while the boys sing 'round the fire
Don't murder me, I beg of you, don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
Don't murder me
I beg of you don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
No no no don't murder me
I beg of you, don't murder me
Please, don't murder me
Please, don't murder m

Santa Cruz? . Recently I read it- somewhere on SF, I think, described
as an open-air insane asylum. Haven't been there in years even though
I live quite close. We usually wind up in Monterey/Carmel for Baroque music
and classic cars.

If you find out let me know. Worst Thai food in the Bay Area imo. Sorry. June gloom is upon us

does that mean I should not check out the leather jacket thread...
Theyve developed a new way of measuring if a jacket is too tight (dude literally ripped a seam wearing his jacket but refuses to size up)
2 tennis balls. Haters gonna hate.

Went to sawasdee Thai, decidedly average. Too sweet and Americanized
Yeah we gave up on Thai food around here. Sawasdee can't even cook rice. That is pathetic.

I gave up on Thai about three years ago. Get with it, kids.
