You recently said something about being 5 in 1980. By that time I already had college degrees and several years of work under my belt.

I used to think I was Dorian Gray ... always young looking. Lately it's Dorian Graying.

What year was that you and Alden joined me for a brief get together in Paris?
2006.

We argue like Tibetan monks, where each does a hand slap after making a point.
I'm Buddhipalian. The Episcopalian side does not allow slaps.

That's why you buy multiples of 10 of course.

In all seriousness, personally I don't find that a problem. Normal wash and they're fine again. But I guess that depends on your specific sweat...

This thread is seriously an amazing throwback to the days when I first started lurking on the forum.

As much I appreciate the discussion of RTW western shirts, I would really enjoy another green breast wallet-style write up of the experience of having Charvet make a bespoke western shirt.

When the line-by-line write-up of Foo's discussion with Charvet drops:

Its the deodorant/ antiperspirant that leaves the yellow stains. Any stick/ gel/ paste style will usually discolor shirts over time. I have found that when I switched to a spray antiperspirant I stopped getting stains. With that said, I also scrub the collars and pits and soak them as a sort of occasional power scrub.

Top tip: if you scrub your neck well in the shower with a loofa/ wash cloth/ facial scrubber, etc, it will dramatically reduce the ring around the collar...
