I stopped wearing my cowboy boots because it was a pain to drive in. I couldn't feel the pedals very well so now I barely wear them.

I posted something about this in the Clev thread, where I pointed out that Kirby's shoes rock back and forth and aren't set properly. Kirby said this is a result of Clev's twisted last. Long story, but it ended up being a big controversy.

I went to Clev and had a terrible experience with them. Far and away the worst bespoke maker I've ever used.

I also wear cowboy boots now. Mine are pleb level (have two pairs of Tecovas). But I've been thinking about buying a pair of Rios.

5 pair of alden shell cordovan gone in a decade, well I assume someone on the thrift thread pick it up and fix it then flip it on ebay then end up on the vintage thread mistakenly?

yea 5 shell cordovan in #8 LWB all on plaza last (back in the days when Alden allow you to do various pattern on different last)

edit: and also if memory serve me correct it was on single instead of double leather sole?
