,Undercover Season 2 Netflix Bob infiltrates a Dutch horse ranch, who's members are western devotees, riding horses, shooting guns, square dancing and wearing cowboy mufti, in order to catch the ruthless weapons dealing owners, bizarre

Gotta admit I somewhat like this, though I still think western shirts shouldn't be this recherché.
I don’t really see why not though. Tom Ford quite successfully pulls off a luxury cowboy look and frankly it seems more authentic to who he is than dressing up like he’s about to do some serious ranch-hand work.

If you live in NYC or LA and work in finance or entertainment, it makes sense to me.

Well Tom was born in Austin and lived in Texas until he moved to NM so he did spend a decent chunk of his childhood in the southwest. Him being a little western make sense.

Since this is how I've always dressed anyway, at least I will be "in style" for a few months without needing to spend money to upgrade my wardrobe. Then I will go back to being that guy who is still wearing all those out of style western things that nobody wears anymore now that everyone else is dressing the full [motorcycle hooligan/sailor/WWII army officer/lumberjack] looks..

You live in Houston. No one is going to bat an eye when you wear your western clothes.

Unless one was born in a cowboy state (Ford was) why would he/she be wearing western? When I read NYC or LA ... working in finance or entertainment ... wearing western getup ... I think C.O.S.T.U.M.E.

I just do NOT get this. It has me laughing ... in a fun way.

All casual wear is costume if comparing genealogy to use case. The real question is if one is wearing it as costume.

I’m not trying to dress like a cowboy or rancher. I’m just dipping into westernwear for some specific ideas. Nothing new about this.

When you realize that all clothing, formal or casual, is equally costume, then you can join the chosen Unclothed.
