Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Hello, I was thinking about how we always talk about house styles for suit jackets but never for trousers. Do bespoke(even high end MTM and RTW) shops- for example: Huntsman, Cifonelli, Rubinacci, etc- have a house style for their trousers(such as for the break they like, pleats, cuff width) or is this something that's more universal? Maybe this can help some people decide which house suits their style if they're having trouble choose between a few. Thank you to anyone that is willing to discuss!

Cifonelli does not have a house style for trousers. I can think of at least three different styles of trousers I’ve received there and there might be more. I’m not pushing for much other than pocket placement, rather I’m listening to suggestions, and I think they are not only comfortable but push for variation and stylistic difference. Anderson & Sheppard has a preference for pleats - reverse pleats in my experience. The trousers are shapely but not close-fitting. I’ve never asked for anything on the slimmer side. I suppose they’d do it but I don’t think it would fit the look. Huntsman is looking for a similar look to the jacket - elongated and crisp.
