My Napoli trip was cut short, and with it, my bespoke plans. I'm looking for a new tailor and preferably one who comes to New York. I searched but didn't find a definitive list. Given that a significant number of members are from the city, am hoping this can be the start of a useful thread. Find that Permanent Style trunk show listings and Sartorial Trips tend to prefer affiliates. Let's make this inclusive.

Please add any tailors you know who regularly visit New York. If there's information about their next visit, please add that too. I'll edit the original post to keep a running list.

Huntsman and Cad no longer really visits as they now have pied a terre so you can actually visit the local cutter whenever. If you want a SR cutter from Huntsman then you’ll need to wait for a trunk show.

I would take Solito off. If anyone sees him here, send me a note. He still owes me work from years ago.

You shld add Napoli su Misura.

Luigi Solito will be in NYC in September. I recommend emailing him directly.

No love for american tailors in NYC?
There’s no need to list them here since you don’t have to wait on them to travel to NYC for a visit.

For NYC based I can think of
Leonard Logsdail
David Reeves
Franco Ercole
Huntsman
Cad and the Dandy

BNTailor has been visiting NYC 2x a year for roughly 2 years. I happened to find myself in Seoul 2x last year and NYC 0x, so I don't have a handle on what their NYC pricing is. They also have a contact who measures out of NYC for MTM.

Salvatore Piccolo visits NYC at least a couple times a year - I had some shirts made by him when I was in Napoli

For U.K.
Add Thom Sweeney, and they have a shop too (UES and LES)

For NYC
Add Duncan Quinn and Lord Willy’s (no experience with either)

How does Huntsman NYC work (pretty sure out my price range, so just curiosity, especially giving the quote I got from Cifonelli lately...)

They have a local based cutter there. You’ll need to contact them to setup an appointment to make sure the US cutter isn’t on tour and they can measure you anytime. They also have the 2 main guys from London make stops around the US and NYC.

Huntsman is probably the same price as Cifonelli so at that price point it’s about which style you prefer. I like both but went with Huntsman because they travel to Texas quite often and started making stops in Houston.
