Wow, I think I would really like to try this. How much did he charge you for your pair?

I have, I was having problems finding sunglasses to suit as I have an Oval face which requires squarish frames. I simply choose a nice pair of reading frames that suited my face and the opticial cut the dark lenses to fit. I´ve done that twice and the results were more satisfying than any of the Sunglasses that were available on the market at that time. The problem I found with sunglasses was that despite the large number available they all seem to follow a particular seasonal trend. Aviators for example seem to be on the way back and they don´t suit me

You only pay that if you have a personal consultation with Tom. Normal bespoke glasses are about US$ 1,500 and he sells enough that he has his own factory with 120 staff to make them.

1,500 is a little steep, if it was 500-700 range, I would def think about it.
