New member but long time lurker. Decided to join and make my first post since im getting ready to buy a bespoke suit and bespoke shirts. From doing my own research I have found a few tailors who claim to be bespoke located in Los Angeles but wanted to ask you guys if anyone here has any experience with any of them? Im perfectly fine with having the suit and shirts made by two different tailors, what im looking for is a true bespoke tailor who will give me the chance to have multiple fittings and make sure that everything fits accordingly. Looking forward to your responses

A coworker swears by Michale Sahi. Try looking him up. I'm not convinced yet to try it out.

For bespoke suits in Los Angeles, I suggest Jack Taylor. For shirts, go to Turnbull & Asser on Brighton Way in Beverly Hills. T&A's bespoke shirts first order is a half-dozen minium, bespoke ties first order is three, they will send a sample bespoke shirt after being made, wear it and wash it 3 times, if you like the fit, you can complete the order, and no minimums for future orders. Bespoke shirts (depending on fabric): $365-$495, Bespoke neckties: $180-up. All of these shirts and ties made in the UK.

Enzo Caruso in Santa Monica gets good reviews.
Also not too expensive.

Another vote for Freddy V! Best shirts I've ever owned.

I've heard great things about Enzo Caruso. However, I think he's getting up there in the years and will probably retire soon. Also, don't go if you're in a rush, from what I've read, he's on the slower side. But it looks like the quality is worth the wait.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Richard Lim @ High Society for bespoke clothes. I'm a big advocate of his work. Basically impossible to beat for the price and a real pleasure to work with.

Here's my review: Full Review - Richard Lim Tailor – PLUS - Finished Navy Summer Jacket Pics

Very shocked, how did you know Despos???? I didn't know about this. :brick:

In place of Jack Taylor, go to Brooks Brothers for MTM.

I believe Enzo is the nephew of Frank and Elio Caruso.

They both have bespoke suiting. Check them out. Very quality. I can show you

How could anyone be shocked that Jack Taylor just closed? I mean, they guy's in his mid-90s--he just might want to kick back for his few remaining years. Perhaps the *********** who is his real tailor could have carried the torch, but evidently he chose not to.

I've had 2 suits made by Jonathan Behr. I'm happy with the results. I would consider using him again. Search here and Ask Andy as far as I'm aware all reviews have been positive. I've also had alterations work done by Enzo Caruso - he really knows his stuff.
