^^I think so. there was a thread about this on AAAC not too long ago, IINM. I guess some guys have feet that benefit from bespoke socks.

Wow, that really seems to be taking things a bit far.

Well unless there's a particular design or color someone may want that they can't get in RTW; and there's always the "bragging factor"...

One of the nurses at the clinic I did some rotations at had some pretty funky socks that she knitted for herself.

My girlfriend was playing around with knitting a while back. She's just learning and made me a scarf. Maybe I should try and lead her to the glory of socks.

If she already knows how to knit, then definitely go for it. It'll open up a world of sock possibilities for you.

I am convinced that someone doing this for pay would produce a better product. I've had products made for me out of love and they're not all that great.

I have no doubt. However, I also have zero intent to ever pay for bespoke socks.

I doubt she'd go for it other than for the fun of the thing and that wouldn't bother me in the least.

Cheers!

Could be a good business idea to create a bespoke socks company?

Pantherella produces great socks, although not bespoke. If you use bespoke shoes and want perfect fit, why not use bespoke socks?. Even better, order the socks together with the shoes. Maybe Lobb should consider opening a bespoke sock division.

Lobb London already will make you bespoke felt bath slippers for an enormous sum. Why not?
