I have inherited (so to speak) the perfect pair of boots. They are kind of falling apart by the sole, but the leather is in great condition. This is to say, the welt is weak, but the leather is good. I really love they way they look.

Does anybody know a cobbler in new york or chicago I can take them to, and have them recreated"”have someone make me a pair just like them? im not looking to spend too much money. My friend had this done in mexico for 75 dollars. I know thats unreasoanble here, but does anybody have any suggestions, or even something in different countries that might be cheap? Or a place I can send them to?
