Hi guys! I've been a lurker here for a while and finally decided to sign up for an account! I am continually impressed by the communities vast knowledge and enthusiasm in classic/traditional mens styles down to the use of materials and construction. I hope you guys can share some insight. I'm making a trip out to S. Korea and Hong Kong at the end of the month and am considering having a pair of bespoke shoes made for me. But before that I would like to get your opinion. What is the general sentiment towards having bespoke shoes made in Asia as opposed to Italy, UK, or Hungary? Lets assume that the construction methods follow all 200+ steps of a goodyear welted shoe and is made with veg. tanned italian high grade leather. Does the origin of the shoe determine its credibility at the end of the day? Or would my fellow fashionistas approve?
