Hi my name is Ricardo, I live in Puerto Rico and I'm looking for a list of all renown bespoke shoe makers in the U.S.A. (besides N.Y. city). I want to moves to the states an apprentice as a shoe maker. I started searching the usual way, but any additional help I can get would be great. I really don't know much about the subject, I just like shoes and want to learn how to make them. Oh! NY too expensive I guess.

I recommend DW Frommer, who lives in Oregon, which would be a lot cheaper than NYC. In fact, there's a video on the internet somewhere of a woman from Europe who lived in a van while being taught by him. DW posts here as @DWFII.
