bespoke shirt in London

Beside looking for a bespoke tailor for suit, I would like to try a bespoke shirt.

In Germany I tried some MTM shirts, in London Stephans, but nothing was really satisfying.

I checed Emma Willis, but they start with 310 GBP which is too much for me. Sean O'Flynn starts with 265 GBP and has the advantage that there is no minimum. Although had in mind Budd. T & A is too expensive too.

Are thre any other good shirtmakers that you know? Best would be arrond 200 GBP without any minimum, so that I can try first.

Henry Herbert. Haven't received mine yet so can't comment on fit or quality yet but I have no doubt I will be extremely pleased.

£155 per shirt no minimum order.

Hopefully they will be ready in two weeks time - ready for my basted fitting.

Today I phoned Gary McCarthy http://mccarthyshirts.co.uk/
He does bespoke shirts for 120 GBP. A very friendly guy who told me that he works for other shirtmakers
and tailors on SR as well.

I will meet him next weekend at at tailor in Southborough, which is about one hour by train from London.

Don't know the shirt maker, but might give him a try myself! See your other thread for comment on the tailor.

Simone Abbarchi, an Italian shirt maker, does visits to London a few times a year and I have found his shirts extremely good in the £120 range, though the decline in sterling will have pushed this up a bit. Whilst I am not a fan of the Italian tailoring style for suits, I prefer my Abbarchi shirts to anything I have had done in the UK...

Did you opt for the bespoke shirts?
