My recent frustrated search for the Burberry classic tan trench leads me to this subject.

Which makers do bespoke raincoats? What'd you like for you bespoke raincoats? Which makers would you pick? DB or SB? Shell and lining materials? Belt or no belt?

Mine is pretty simple just like the Burberry classic in tan DB with cotton shell but with 100% cashmere or vicuna lining lined to sleeves, may be I'll order an extra lining just for torso without sleeves.

My bespoke maker once offered a bespoke raincoat made by Martin Greenfield - basic colors (black, blue, brown), classic styling (not sure I saw a belt, but whatever he was wearing, it was gorgeous). The process also sounded more MTM than bespoke.

The fabric was the Loro Piana Storm System, and apparently only a very few know how to handle that fabric properly when tailoring it.

Unfortunately, where I live, the rainfall is such that if one carried an umbrella, one would be considered a tourist.
