Howdy,

I'm a fan of bespoke leather jackets. As I prepare to get my next one, my key goal is versatility.

I wan't a jacket that goes with casual wear and different contexts, but is also at place in a semi-formal setting. When I say that, I'm thinking of various detectives such as McNulty on The Wire, Bullock on Gotham, Angel, etc, who tend to wear leather jackets with suit pants, dress shirts and tie, in offices where most people wear full suits.

So, what type of leather jacket styles are acceptable for a professional setting?

At a minimum, I'm thinking it should be the length of a standard suit jacket and have a blazer style collar, and should be a thin material like lambskin or kangaroo skin.

I will appreciate any input on this, thank you.
