I assure that you the Foo-sized head is only an artifact of the camera angle.

In case anyone asks, cloth is Minnis Rangoon 0123, courtesy of one of the forum's greatest assets - AndrewRogers!

I think it looks terrific. I am getting a very similar suit made by Gordon Yao next month but am using Minnis 0328 (a woolen flannel) also sourced from AndrewRogers.

Nice work; looking good! The DB definitely suits you (no pun intended). [IMG]

Did you have to ask them to cut you something a bit less fitted from their normal house cut?

    Iris?

Are you going to publish the full range of photographs of the suit as Gerald did to start this thread (see very first post with various views being worn and others not). To copy that range would be very helpful.

Thanks guys. I asked for more room indeed. I don't think the house cut is particularly slim actually - lean with no drape, but not always slim. It was more of my request than anything else really.

GBR - Iris indeed and I'll be sure to post similarly detailed pictures upon completion.

Personally I think the lapel is too big for your body frame.. Just my thoughts..

Re: the DB, lapels are great but button stance is low and the jacket is a tad long. Really great work otherwise though.

Really like the low buttoning point and longer lapel.

I am not 100% happy with the button stance & think it can be raised a wee bit as well. Oh well! Re: length - you'll have to wait for properly taken photographs to judge i think. The photograph was very poorly taken, but all I have now. Francisco - I've yet to receive word from you after you had me rush the pocket square order for you last year & never collected it..

Something different! My GF's winter coat...We used a different tailor this time - very much cheaper @ only about $120 CMT. Fused construction unfortunately.. though I had thought it would be canvassed [IMG]

Buttons were purchased from RJ Weldon, and lining is bemberg from a fabric store in SG. Fabric is an english tweed bought off the ebay store British Textiles:

Great potential. But it's criminal that you didn't post a full spread on the finished DB [IMG] p.s. Happy Friday. It's gone chilly here in Chicago with the onset of fall, but the party continues... [IMG]
