Has anyone had any experience with Bespoke Factory? They are a B2B operation where tailors and others can set up a shop for custom shoes made overseas (in Spain, I believe).

It doesn't appear they do any direct sales. The name is misleading — they use OTR sizing, nothing remotely bespoke. But there is a lot of customization as far as design and styling available. I recently got a pair of chelsea boots and matching belt made by them through my local tailor and am quite happy with them, but I wonder what experiences others have had.

This isn't the place I used but you can see an example of the customization process here:

Primarily curious as to how the quality of the materials used compares to something like Allen Edmonds. I ask as I'm considering another pair of shoes. The fit from Bespoke Factory is just about spot on, but I'm going to be doing something that would easily be found OTR from AE: a black cap toe oxford.

I'm considering Chelseas from BF (through animascode online) in EE width right now because AE Liverpools in EE slipped in the heel. However I may go with Zeb since I need EE in the front and D toward the heel and I don't know if that level of customization is even possible through BF.

Keep us updated.

I went with the AEs. BF does not offer much (any?) customization in terms of size as far as I’m aware.
