I'm thinking about a bespoke coat / topcoat, will be in 100% dark navy cashmere and will have some hints of a covert coat, I've collected a few options from the web (see pics) but it's a difficult choice, suggestions?

It all comes down to personal preference, of course, but my choice would be double breasted.

I know this doesn't really relate to your question, but what is the correct term for when the lapels are a different colour in the back like in the pics? If you are going to go with the different colour lapels I like the tan one with peak lapels. The navy is also very nice.

I've always seen it listed as velvet collar, as the lapels stop where the collar starts. Chesterfields have collars like that.

I voted SB with peak, possibly with the fly front like the one pictured. But seeing that Navy DB I change my mind, that is a gorgeous coat.

I have a coat very, very similar to the DB navy one on the left. It is by far my favorite coat and I cannot wait for it to get cold enough so that I can wear the coat again.
