Thought I'd post these images of some bespoke chukka boots I had made by Tony's Of Fulham in London back in 2002.

Tony was great guy to work with but is sadly no longer making shoes due to ill health I believe...all of his lasts were bought by James Taylor (Marylebone).

Tony had previously worked for Lobb St. James's and had many stories to tell about Lobb...I had not realised that they used many workers all over the country....Tony used to stitch the upper at the end of his garden then forward them on to the next worker who would do his bit and then on they would go and so on....

The boots took about 3 months to complete and I remember Tony making me take the boots home without the welt too see if they needed any adjustment.

I particularly like the fiddle waist!

The boots were full bespoke and so were the trees.
