So my dumb ass was so excited to receive these that I forgot to try them out on a soft surface and they picked up some mild scuffs from my hardwood floor before I decided they should be returned for a smaller item. Anyway, here they are.

While a size 7 UK, I recommend one be at least a 9.5 US if they are considering these. I'm an 8.5 and my heels were coming out of them.

There seems to be evidence of imperfection on one of the tassels, negligible in my opinion though. Let me know if you...

Hi

Can I ask what size you are some other shoes/brands? Nike running shoes? Alden, Barrie last?

I'm not terribly familiar with UK sizing.

Sure! I will try to answer as best I can having never fitted myself in some Alden’s and not having owned a pair of Nike’s in over a decade.

I know that my Thorogood boots (American Heritage, is I believe the model is) were an 8 and fit probably better than any pair of boots I’ve had. I wore a 9 in red wing Beckmann’s, and in most tennis shoes I am a 9. I typically start at an 8.5 when I’m shoe shopping and either go up or down depending on how it feels.
