Does anyone know when the sale drops to 50% off?
Not sure anyone will be able to answer this definitively.
I looked back at my emails, last years January sale began at “up to 40% off”
About 10 days into the sale it then went to 30-50% and towards the end of Jan capped out at 50%.
It seems this year they began the sale later in Jan and also at a lower discount. The tailoring also arrived really late in 2019 compared to 2018 so perhaps that’s why the sale is later less discount etc.
Anyway I hope this gives a rough indication of timelines we could see this year.
Is there anything you’re looking at in particular? I have two deliveries coming Monday as I just couldn’t wait any longer

Just some trousers. Pickings are getting slim though.

Cream Bengt turtleneck just arrived—it's advertised as slim enough to fit under tailoring, which is certainly is, but it's also thin enough that the collar of my (not particularly thick) crew-neck undershirt is quite visible through it. It has a nice feel to it, but I'm not sure how to get around this.

No undershirt then?

It is soft enough for that, certainly, though I'll dislike having to dry-clean it more often.

Get one of those seamless airism undershirts from uniqlo. I didn't see them on their website right now but I'm sure they'll be back in stock

Returning the white flannel trousers--I find it too yellow for my sport coats. Sheer at the rear too.
Ahh noo. Mine haven’t arrived yet but now worried about the same haha. I did look at the Antons in the velvet as they were described as “off white” but in the end I went with the white flannel and the olive velvet to see what the fabrics are like.

I think I tried one last year and found the same, I couldn’t wear anything underneath as it was too thin. Not to promote another brand on this thread but have you checked out Cavour?
I ordered their roll neck in 100% cashmere in a honeycomb knit and I would say it’s thin enough to go under tailoring or be worn casually.
it was £225 when I ordered it but again 100% cashmere.

Yeah, I expect something along these lines the same as the year. Next week we might see 30-40%, end of the month 50%, but at that point most of the trousers and coats will be gone, there might some sportcoats remaining since (again) it was launched very late in the season.

Wondering myself, does anyone know if the VBC flannel material used on their trousers by Berg & Berg is the same as the VBC flannel used by Suitsupply?

Sale has now dropped down to 30%, so anything that was previously in the sale is now at a 30% off. Been waiting for the denim to go into the sale but no luck yet.

With 30 % off their grenadines are probably the best value grenadines within europe.
