Thanks! At discount price + extra discount code they seem to be really good value. I am indeed looking for classic trousers, I just hope the cut is not too wide for me. Are you wearing them cuffed?

Interesting, will measure them and see if there is a really big difference. Just a tad smaller won't be an issue probably.
Does Berg have a SF discount code?

What are you guys buying?

I am planning on buying a tweed raglan coat in navy and perhaps ecru Antonello trousers.

I've been eyeing the black corduroy and cream cotton Alfies, but I've been losing some weight recently, and I'm currently smack in the middle between size 46 and 48 (80cm waist and 85cm waist). Maybe I should hold off for now and wait until my waistline has stabilized, especially since waist alterations at a decent tailor in NYC is quite expensive.

A pair of Arthuro jeans. Hopefully, they are not too big on me. Does anyone have the "washed blue" (not light blue) color? How does it look in real lighting?

I got every color except for the black ones. I never use them. The cut is a bit weird on me. They have a tendency to fall when I walk. Fabric is not particularly interesting compared to its Japanese counter parts.

I am currently away, staying at another city, so I can't provide you photos. But the color and feel is bland, at least to me.

They stretch in the waist, a cm or two, with wear. I think color is quite accurate. I only have a photo of the light washed blue, so not the one that you asked for.

If they go on sale: a gray tweed coat. But I doubt they will.

I'll also gets socks in natural. Any recommendations for socks in EU welcome by the way.

Might go for a croco belt, also.

But I just moved back to Spain so I won't be spending money on winter clothes.

especially since waist alterations at a decent tailor in NYC is quite expensive.

Out of curiosity, how much? In France (not Paris), I pay 12 to 15 euros.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
