Have a pair of Anton navy shorts from last summers collection for sale, they have never been worn and still have the tags on.

When I bought them they had the wrong tag on so I ordered a 48 but ended up with a 50. I bought a 48 but then forgot to return these ones..

If anyone is interested just let me know!

For a second I thought the model in this shot was missing half his arm and I thought that was very progressive of B&B lol

Hi folks,

I've been searching for some cheaper brands as a good alternative to B&B. If any brands come into your mind, let me know !

Thank you !

So, I guess Alfons is gone, replaced by the Alfonso with a roomier thigh rather than the two models coexisting. I know there have been some complaints about the Alfons in terms of tightness, but as someone who doesn't do leg days I liked the Alfons and am curious whether the new fit is appealing to someone with my conformation.

Crashing someone's thread to ask for recommendations on cheap knockoffs? That's a party foul, bruv.

I am currently incapable of performing “leg day” but last year I tried the anton and antonio and I really like both of them.

One of those things you’ll just have to try though I think.

New tailoring is up for any interested parties. Some interesting options, though the half canvassing on the new "Dan" model is a bit of a bummer.

Particularly strange because it's not much cheaper than the full-canvas Dante

But the old Dan was half canvassed as well. Checked it recently.

Armoury has a video why some garments are better suited for half canvassed.

Are B&B sport coats usually constructed with a soft shoulder?

Agreed. That was a bit of a bummer to see, from my perspective.

Interesting. How old is the jacket you have? My first B&B jacket was from SS17 if memory serves, and that was fully canvassed. Perhaps that was the Dan II model.

Not saying you're wrong, but I'm skeptical as to whether utility played the primary role (or even a role) in the choice to go HC, considering the B&B tailored pieces I have currently are essentially the same as today's drops, from a practical standpoint.

Admittedly, my POV may not be the most charitable.

BUT, I will say I do appreciate their willingness to go the full suit option with some of what I would consider riskier fabrics, namely the Sand and Taupe.

They told me that Dante will not be restocked now and they will focus on half canvassed tailoring so they can offer it at a better price point.

They also said the new cut features slightly rotated shoulders and the upper sleeve is more generous.

I quite like the olive cotton suit and the taupe high twist wool but haven’t placed any orders yet.

A 30€ price difference seems extremely marginal at nearly 900€ for a jacket, so that doesn't quite make sense to me. But in any case, also unfortunate to see that the Dan model is slimmer and longer.
