Had dinner with Chris and the wives a few weeks ago at Woodfire Grill. http://www.woodfiregrill.com/index.asp He indicated that the owner of Grenson took his own sweet time in making decisions and could not be rushed. Bennie's has not given up.

I asked this question during the Paul Stuart sale and Chris assured me that the PS sale would have no effect on his ability to get the Grensons. Although it's my understanding that some of his stock last time was from PS, his source for the upcoming sale is apparently different from Paul Stuart.

I will say that I'm slowly (or maybe not so slowly) acquiring shoes and won't need or have the money to buy from Chris if the Grensons don't show up soon.
