Anyone catch this flick? thought it was rather good, and also noticed the awesome americana steez throughout. Thoughts? Really liked the leathers, the chambray and the shawl collar cardi in particular (from what I remember, I'm sure there's a lot more).

What is it with people on this forum and the word steez?

Aren't the majority of posters middle-aged caucasian males?

How do you suggest they express themselves??

"Golly, I went to the movies and while the film was good, the actors' clothing was neato!!"

Based on my experience on this forum (SW&D), the posters tend to be younger and more cosmopolitan than you may think.

Haven't seen it yet but I plan to. I did like the styles I was seeing in the commercials though.

are you just sayin that as a general statement? or is this an actual critique of the style in the movie?

Loved the film and the period clothing.

It looked like they raided Ralph Lauren's archive wherehouse. The Polo folks probably have the greatest collection of the best of the best of men's clothing from the 20's on in the world...The production design for the film is amazing. Too bad its 2 hours and 55 minutes long but the clothing is worth seeing the film for.
