What do you guys think of this coat?

Specifically, I was wondering about the versatility of this coat in comparison to a similar coat in gray. Basically, I was looking for a coat that I can wear with jeans and also in semi-formal settings.

I kinda like the look, but it is definately not in any way business/formal. You could wear it with jeans, maybe kakis, but never anything dressy. If you want versatility, you should instead go with a sportcoat.
