I've had a look at some of the belts in the new RM Williams, Autumn/Winter 2008 catalogue. None of them really appeal.
So, strolling past http://www.wsfoster.co.uk I wandered if they'd make me one in the colour of my choice. Seems that they have a selection of buckles and leather on display inside the shop. The salesman said that pretty much any colour belt could be made up. The wait time of about 2 weeks seems pretty reasonable as well. Cost is between £80 - £100.
Very helpful for me, as I'm still on a quest to find the perfect whiskey coloured belt. With the arrival of my claret coloured, Comfort Craftsman boots in about 3 weeks, I'll be wanting to match that colour as well.
A question: I plan on ordering a pair of Bills Khakis soon. Are they made with narrower loops to take 1.25 inch belts? Would 1.5 inch be too wide? I'm undecided.

Once again, great forum. I'd still be a slob if it wasn't for the info gleaned here. I'm especially grateful to both Sator (how does he know so much?) and Manton (yep, I got his book).
Most of society dresses poorly and my friends dress poorly. My father was simply not there to provide sartorial guidence when I was younger. Absolutely NOT a grumble! Just to show that in many cases, this will lead to a poorly turned out individual. If you don't know the rules or possibilities, how can you play? This should be considered, the next time we judge a slob.
The good news is that even at my ripe age, it's NEVER too late to change (or get to the gym)
