I normally don't like belt loops on my suit pants. Side adjusters and/or suspenders are my choice for holding up suit pants. However, I'm looking at getting a tweed suit, and am wondering if belt loops might be a better option than side adjusters. Reasons why: Tweed is a bit more casual than typical suit fabrics, so maybe a belt would be more suitable. A nice leather belt would go well with a tweed fabric. Makes it easier to wear the pants by themselves. What is the collective wisdom?
