Broke working college student on a budget (but I try I guess...)

I picked these up for super cheap ($64 shipped). They look suede-ish in the pictures but are just dark gray leather. I picked these up to wear with both jeans and dress pants/slacks. What belt can I use to go with these? A regular black 1 1/4" leather belt?

BUMP.

Looking to purchase a new belt soon.

Should I go with a light brown rather than black? Any advice would be nice.

If you can't match more closely, the safe choice is black, not brown.

I would go with black. Shades of gray, including black, go with shades of gray. Shades of brown go with shades of brown. And yes, cordovan is just a reddish shade of brown.

Matching beyond that isn't particularly important. Matching at at least that level is very important. Usually.
