Gentlemen, I present the Pocket Banana™:

This one was rather small and it slid further into the pocket when I moved. Next time I might stuff a spare hankie in there before inserting it. On the other hand I might just use a larger banana.

overly ripe. I would go with a green one, or even a plaintain, damn the rules.

I would peel it half way and then let the peel hang down, but the fruit stick up, for that Continental look.

Not a fruit, but still great for pocket squares is bok choy...particularly, fermented into kimchee.

Very well. It is decorative but hardly practical.
I prefer to carry banana in my pant pocket.

Dont you know bananas are soo over done these days? The real fashion afficinados use a fresh carrot, preferably with an overly long top

Hey I wear fresh carrot on a chain and keep it in my watch pocket to see when it is a dinner time.
