NXL is a code for natural chromexcel. Try searching that and you should find results.
And manners aren't yours. We all have our flaws.
So why would someone recommend Clarks when the OP says he specifically doesn't want Clarks currently coming from China and Vietnam?
honesty has as much to do with manners as china does with vietnam.
there you go again.

I am really not sure what you are getting at. Are you denying that Clarks are made in India, China, Brazil, and Vietnam?
Or maybe you are upset that I said their quality was now worse and the association is that it is worse because it is being made in China? Well, the two things aren't necessarily tied together, China is perfectly capable of making world class stuff for the most part, but most companies don't go there to make world class stuff, they go there to make stuff cheaper, and Clarks definitely went the latter route.
I'm curious about the same thing...
That is ever so constructive. Shame that someone with 230+ posts has resorted to trolling.
Where did you guys buy those Oliberte zimbos for such a low price?
I have Adibos. You can get the Ronnie Fieg Gunsmoke Adibo's for $50 on davidz if you have a small foot..
Looking around, CT has some:
Not sure where they are made.
How about J. Crew Macallister desert boots? They are supposedly made in Italy.
Quality is nearly the same as Clarks'. The price difference is not worth it IMO.
Yeah I'd say the suede is maybe a little better. I was able to pick some up this summer for ~65 when J. Crew had the 50% of sale items and even then my money would have been better spent on a pair of Aldens or maybe the Yuketen Johnson boot.
I really want a higher quality pair of beewax DBs as well. Clarks arent made for my feet.
