I'll be moving back to the right side pretty soon and I surely will miss all of the microbrews that are available in the northwest. Does anyone sell this stuff in NYC or Jersey? Looking for stores with a large selection of microbrews.

Wholefoods on Houston has the best selection in their "beer room", great selection! Trader Joe's on 14th has surprisingly good values on Rogue including the Morrimoto line.

There are many other options. Gingerman, a bar near me, has a great selection on draught. If you need more info based on location PM or e-mail me.

New Beer has a good selection. It's just down Chrystie, between Rivington and Delancey so it's not too far from the Bowery Whole Foods.

Beer Menus is also a useful resource.

Pretty much any bodega you walk into has a huge selection of beers that are hard to get anywhere else in the country. Of particular note, within two blocks of me, are the bodegas underneath the four indian restaurants on 6th st. and 1st ave., and on the northeast side of 9th st. at 2nd ave.

Or you could walk a few blocks to a more student neighborhood and get $1 drafts and $7 pitchers
