They don't look as good as oaknyc's website made them look. My friend has a pair (not one that you linked, i forget his model) and they look alright for being under $200. They're not as cool in person, but if you can find them on sale, they're pretty decent. If they didn't go overboard with some of the suede/leather distressing on certain models, i'd be more interested.

I was planning on getting the bed:stu shoes from Urban Outfitters, but decided to get Butteros instead.

They are alright. I have two pair of Bed Stu shoes for sale, but they're more sneaker-types. They're not bad, but not excellent at all either.

I have the Deputys in black leather. They look good, but the quality is pretty average. The rubber on the heel wore down pretty fast and I wouldn't trust them for anything more than casual wear. Also if its just a little wet out you will slip and fall on your ass. I would definitely not pay 180 bucks for them, I got them for sale for 50 and I would say they are worth just that.

I'm going to echo the complaints about quality. The leather feels weird. The leather sole is also almost completely impractical. They definitely do not look as good as in the pictures. Check them out in person if you can, although I couldn't find anywhere near me that had them in stock. I bought them online and was a little disappointed. Will probably keep them for casual wear.
