I'm sure it has happened to everyone... forgetting about good swimwear sales during the winter. And then purchasing everything at peak prices during the spring/summer seasons. This thread is to share good deals, great finds, and preference on swimwear for the people who will enjoy their winter vacation on a hot climate. I am in Chicago right now, and I can't think of anything else but going to the beach soon. I found that the trunks James Bond wore on Casino Royale are quite cool: http://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/in...p?m=cl&g=cl012 Although, I am not sure about the length or the price. Edit: They are actually on sale! $73.20... but out of stock =(

At the Bloomingdale's in Boca Raton there are 7" and 9" Theory swim-shorts that I believe retail at 135 and can be copped as low as 35 or 45 bucks; I have a 7" pair in navy and white to show off my steadily degenerating rowing quads. Pretty good swimwear for the price, classy, and minimalist. They come in solid and two tone colors. Although I suspect other Bloomies may not hold onto their swimwear since Florida is perpetually in beach mode.

I copped Paul Smith ones in the last BlueBee sale @ 70% off, but I am almost certain they were still available at 80% off.

Your thread title made me think this was spam.

lol @ the James Bond swimtrunk. Unless you look like Daniel Craig I doubt anyone could pull that off without looking like a bit odd unless you got immense swag.

Yeah, I didn't see too many options there right now.

No, just need to have a good build. I have a Parke and Ronen 4" and the lifeguard at the pool gave me a very nice smile. A friend of mine said she was hitting on me, but I didn't think so. That friend also said I looked really hot in my swimming trunks. Been thinking about getting another pair of Parke and Ronen, except from their snap short style. Anyway, doubt I'd be going back to board shorts ever again.

They --- Parke and Ronen --- actually have a really nice sale going on right now. 70% or something like that off selected items.

More like toned than jacked. Tight abs. muscles that look well supported, and a v-shaped body are the key. But if you become too bulky, you become just a major turn off to most women.

Berticus- I would argue that I can't imagine a 4" swimsuit looking good on my athletic and v-shaped, yet scrawny frame. You need some body mass to rock the 4"; I didn't say you had to take steroids, be a meathead or be ridiculously muscular.

I forgot the name of the brand with the rainbow colored logo. It was featured on GQ this year I think. Does anyone remember? It's supposed to be a classic. Edit: It was Sundek... and it is not a rainbow =D

Strangely, those shorts don't seem to bad for Dolce & Gabbana.

But for something so basic, I'm sure there's a better way to go about getting a pair like this.
