1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I just returned the LE Canvas oxfords I've had for a year due to an unfortunate bleaching accident (should've read the label more carefully). I decided to upgrade to BB (never liked the LEC's small collar). I tried on a full-cut 15½-5 shirt at a thrift store, and it fit right in the shoulders and neck. So I ordered an extra slim fit 15½-33, but the chest is a little tight (or rather, I can feel it pull at the shoulders), the shoulders a little wide, and I can barely button the top button.

If I get a 16-33, will it be even larger in the shoulder? Should I get a fuller fit (slim instead of extra slim) so the shoulders don't pull, or is a little pull normal? I like the high armholes of the ESF fit though.

You returned a shirt you wore for a year because you made a mistake in washing it? [IMG] Be a man and pay for the loss yourself, instead of making an innocent company and its workers pay for it.

Wait whaaa? You messed up the LE shirts and had the gall to return them? Don't ever do that again, like tgt465 said, man up and take responsibility. Yes, IMO the BB Slim fit should be fine as they have high arm holes as well. Just go with the proper neck and sleeve size.

Just get their regular slim fit and have your tailor make it slimmer and/or make the armholes smaller.

Im not a fan of BB shirts unless they are the extra slim fits...those fit almost better than any other OTR shirt i own.

I have the same problem. Extra slim shirts play hell with my shoulders. I like the body, but when I hold my arms out it looks like I'm wearing a shrunken shirt. Go Slim fit (which are also longer down the back) and have it darted if you must

Yeah, I felt bad doing it, and now I feel worse. FWIW, I was planning to return it anyway, now that I have a summer job, because of the short collar. It just happened that I tried bleaching them, which stained them, which prompted me to actually get around to returning them, since I didn't want to wear them.

Are the slim fit's armholes as high? On the site it says "trim armholes" for SF, and "higher armholes" for ESF.

OK, I'm feeling like more and more of an asshole. What should I do, try to just give them $80? go buy some identical shirts and donate them to a thrift store?

Just don't ever tell anyone else the story. Adopt a policy, that if you F something up, be a man and swallow it.

You can tell a good person by what he does when he thinks no one is looking. I guess I'm not a very good person. I try, but in this case I caved to temptation.

The returned shirts were Land's End, but BB does have a similar return policy.
