I'm in the market for some workweek beater oxfords. Based on recommendations here, I tried on some Brooks Brothers slim fits this weekend.
15.5 fits me like a glove of love, but I'm concerned about how much this space-age astronaut fabric is going to shrink. Any info? Should I opt for 16s and just wash them hot?

I always wash my shirts cold and hang dry, and haven't noticed any shrinkage issues with the BB non-irons.

I've washed my BB non-iron slim fit shirts in warm water and dried them on high heat and never noticed much shrinkage.

Shouldn't use high heat. Dry them on low. Just to clarify, by oxford are we talking about the oxford cloth button down?

I have several BB slim fit no iron shirts. Some of them are more than 4 years old. They launder well, and very little or no shrinkage is evident. These shirts are truly durable.

I tried desperately to power-shrink 3 BB non-irons (regular fit) by repeated hot water washings and furnace-blasting in the dryer. They remain unchanged and good as new, for better or worse.

I'm getting rid of them , they're just too big.

According to their website, BB doesn't have slim fit oxford shirt. The only slim fits are dress shirts. The oxford shirts are all reg fit. So are you guys referring to the dress shirts? I'd love a slim fit oxford.

I'm a 15.5 as well and experienced no shrinkage. You're good to go.

I have several, and they shrink less than most shirts that I have purchased, and especially less than the frequent 1+" shrink of CT.
