Some parts are so cool. But then you have scenes like firing from the walkway. Even if the other parts are grossly unrealistic that walkway scene is the worst. Guy would be dead in a few seconds after firing from up there.

Well that is true, but just look at the atmosphere they are building up. If you were playing this, in the heat of battle, you would never ever complain about stuff like this ! You would be lost in the awesomeness of the gameplay

True. I have to say that watching in HD got my heart racing and I did find all the killing rather worrying.

It's sound like the pinnacle of the tactical shooter. There's suppressing fire, large maps, the ability to vault over objects, multiple objectives that leapfrog each other...

It was there before COD, and it will be there after COD.

64 players
Huge maps
Vehicles (land, air, sea)
More team-based play
Less arcadey and XP/killstreak grounded than COD

Those are pretty much the core 5 points in all BF games, but BF3 is adding a shitload more. It looks impressive.

Already pre-ordered. Cannot wait to see what this looks like on the new TV. I bought battlefield 2 recently and prefer it over COD. COD is too arcade-ish and too easy to get kills.
