Battle of the Burgandy dress shoe: McAllister vs Strand

Looking to get a burgundy balmoral to add to the rotation. Any thoughts/anecdote on McAllister or the strands style in burgundy?

For reference, I have a black cordovan blucher and a walnut longwing tip so not sure if that factor into if either strand or mcallister will diversify my rotation.

Personally, I like the cap toe (Strand) in burgundy more than the wingtip McAllister and it may be a nice introduction of a slightly different style to your Blucher and Longwing.

I'm actually wearing the oxblood strands right now. While both are nice shoes, I like the styling of the strand better than mcallister. But, there's no bad choice here. Both are great shoes.
