Lol. People really think Nolan would involve CGI with Bane? Especially with an actor as physically imposing now as Tom Hardy? I expect there to be less or equal amounts of CGI in this as The Dark Knight which was seamless in its integration.

If you read the press release, it goes on to say how Nolan is excited about Tom Hardy playing Bane in his own interpretation of the villain.

Nolan shot his load last time when he put the two best Batman villains in the same movie.

    Bane is a snooze.

He can make it work, he did well with adapting Rha's.
Plus Bane is the man that broke the bat, just because they made him dumb and stupid giant in the Batman & Robin movie doesn't mean Nolan will do the same. Dude is actually really smart equaling that of a genius. You guys really need to read up on what he has done in the comics.

I have faith that Nolan will direct a good movie. I just don't think the material sounds all that great. Besides, anyone who seriously follows comics knows the person who really "broke the bat" is: [IMG] [IMG] I still await a faithful adaptation of this.

From simply having Catwoman and Bane in the movie? That barely tells us anything.

I don't think people are giving Bane the proper respect he deserves.

People hear "Bane" and think back to the Batman and Robin movie; a mindless, juiced up thug.

Bane will be an amazing villain, he has a mind rivaling Batman's, and unlike most of the bad guys, he's 100 percent sane.....which makes him even more dangerous.

Oh yeah, that's EXACTLY the same as bane. Give me a break.
Dude, whaaaat? Are you one of those guys who starts to dislike something because it's universally loved?
No. The joker sucked. Heath Ledger sucks. The movie sucked. Period.

The cellphones functioning as an x-ray/sensor/radar-scene was a bit much.

+1. Bane, for a short time was 2nd to Batman in terms of intellect and skills.

Yea, but THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS has Bruce Wanye as a 60 year old man. He beat him the second time they fought.

Wow at this thread. I think it'd be funny to go back and read what people thought The Dark Knight was going to be like when they announced Heath Ledger as The Joker, I'm still surprised people are doubting Christopher Nolan at this point [IMG]

I'm more interested in how this movie will compare with the first two.
