Anyone suggest a source to learn how to care for these?

    Thanks

If you can't grow basil, you just can't grow anything.

They both like sun but basil more so. No special soil needs, just a nice compost mix. Water a little everyday. Plant shit loads of it a few days apart and you'll have pesto for days. The plants can be harvested a few leaves at a time but they go to seed pretty quick.

Parsley reseeds itself really well and a few plants should be able to keep you going most all year.
