Hi all, apologies for asking a very rudimentary question. However, shoes have always been my Achilles' heel, so to speak. I've never owned a particularly nice pair, but I recently purchased a pair of Strands and received them in the mail today. Unfortunately, there are no shops near me that carry AE's and so I did my best to size them using the online guide they provide. I measured myself at an 8.5D (which is what I usually wear in running shoes). However, now that I have them, I'm wondering if I shouldn't exchange them for a smaller size. I have an album of photographs here. I'd be happy to provide any additional images that might be helpful. They don't slip or feel uncomfortable, but the right shoe does want to crease in the toe box. Also, while they are snug, they don't feel as tight as I might expect from a new shoe -- don't feel like they need breaking in at all. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
