Yea, I am!

I'm asking this cuz I won't have an opportunity to visit NYC anytime soon.

Give them a call and see what they have, that's the only way you'll know for sure. I've only been in there a few times and the stuff is generally too rich for my blood so I didn't look too hard.

Their current shoe selection is very limited. Lots of Prada though for some reason. But they have good stuff in the way of sneakers. Oh plus they will be carrying some new lines like Ann D. and I think they said Comme de Garcons too.

As for the new store, I talked to them last month and they said that the bigger-looking location is kind of an optical illusion and is actually about the same size. It should be nice though..theyve been working on it forever..keeping me up at night with the cranes and yelling, etc.!!

For what it's worth, the sales associate that I talked with last time I was in told me they could request shoes for you from other Barney's locations and they had a binder listing out all of the inventory that I was able to skim through.

It's good to hear about the new lines they'll be carrying, as going up to Blackbird for some of that stuff is kind of a hassle for me. But the same size? That breaks my heart

I wonder if they might have "finished" the second floor maybe, so that it's not as much of a loft design as it was before. That would add probably 1/3 more retail space.

More exciting/possibly weird news for Seattle people into clothes: apparently Marios is going to be carrying Rick Owens and Number (N)ine for fall.

Just FYI, I saw a posted date today for Barney's opening on June 29th. From the street it looks like they've finished renovations and have been putting out inventory.

I'll be calling them tomorrow to see if they have any special events or opening sales planned.

I was just in Seattle; wasn't too crazy about "Butch Blum", but it's a very nice downtown all in all. There's a great little store on one end of town that sells J. M. Weston, what's the name of that shop?

Such a gem exists? I must know the name of the shop.

But yeah, the Butch Blum in Seattle is a bit off, but is still one of my favorites in comparison to the other shops along that street. To shop successfully there, my only tip is to find a sales associate there that you like working with and have them do the shopping for you.

It's very close to the Westin hotel with the round towers, and the flagship Nordstrom's. I thought it was an Italian sounding name.

I don't think they do. A few days ago I looked at their selection and saw Stefanobi, Bontoni, Gravati, and then a bunch of designer crap like BOSS and Prada.
