Well since Aportnoy has not graced us with some recent shoe purchase pics, my poor man's version will have to do. These are Tramezzas that were hidden behind some other shoes in the Barneys sale. I wasn't crazy about the half brogueing (don't know what that line is actually called) but I loved the last shape, the toe box, the color and the medallion and at $249, I wasn't going to pass them up. They are also a 10 and I'm a 10.5, but I'll fit my foot in there

Oh, those are very very nice! Floating medallion. Not that unlike C&J Weymouths. Are they wholecuts, or is that stitching around the facings more than ornamental and actually attaching two pieces? Fabulous deal for $249.

Good score there. Particularly when you consider that Tramezzas are going to run in the $700s this upcoming season. At least that's what my local Ferragamo outlet manager has told me.

These had a $720 retail tag. That is just nuts.

Wow, I should have gone back to the Barney's sale today

. There weren't any shoes like that yesterday, and I am a 10. I guess they must have pulled them out of the back at some point.

What is the status of Aportnoy's "Master Shot" with all 372 pairs of shoes? Is Ken Burns working on this, or what?

I must say those are the best Tramezza's I've seen and a heck of a steal at $250. Congrats on such a great buy. You've amassed quite the purchases over the past 6 months Ed, keep it going!
