Barneys House Shoes: Who makes 'em?

An Italian company called Harris makes some models for Barneys, but they typically carry the Harris badging as well as the Barneys badge.

For the Barney's branded shoes, a lot of different companies over the years have made these shoes. Currently, an Italian company called Campanile is producing their shoes -- this is a relatively recent development (within the last 12 months). Campanile makes shoes for a lot of brands, such as Canali. The shoes are pretty decent, but not very tempting at full retail.

Ok, I got the que....
I have never posted the pair I have.
For black captoes, and for what I paid, they are unbeatable.

The construction from Campanile is fantastic in the sub $500.00 range and the lasts are generally very elegant and sleek.
I am also a big fan of Harris and Peluso.
Part of my love for these brands is the lack of recognition and the fact they are great shoes (material, style, and construction), which equates to "can be found really cheap".
I guess its time to take some pics and post my "cheap" shoe Appreciation.

I owned 1 pair. Most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. Gave them to the salvation army after wearing them a dozen times.

Do they ever go on sale at Barneys? I have my eyes on these boots but no chance I'd want to pay retail for them. http://www.barneys.com/b/browse/prod...egoryId=281248

I don't suppose anyone has figured out who makes shoes for Barneys? House or otherwise?
